Pitchfork's Top Ten of 2025

Pitchfork's Top Ten of 2025

Pitchfork has released its top 10 albums of 2025. Let's look at the list.

First off [at 10], we have the new Amaarae record, Black Star.

At number 9, we have the Nourished By Time album, The Passionate Ones. This actually was in pretty heavy rotation for me in 2025.

[At 8] the new Joanne Robertson, Blurrr. I actually did tap into this one a few times.

Number 7, Geese, Getting Killed. Actually, surprised this didn't place a little higher, considering just how celebratory Pitchfork was of this record, but it was definitely one of the most listened-to rock records for me.

Here [at 6] we have the new Wednesday album, Bleeds, another record that I definitely enjoyed this year.

At number 5, the new Bad Bunny record, which I think actually might be his best album so far.

The new Oklou at number 4.

At number 3, though, Cameron Winter, Heavy Metal, great singer-songwriter album.

The new Dijon album [at number 2], a record that I wish was a little bit more built out and, frankly, stacked with tracks, considering how long we had to wait for it.

And then the self-titled Los Thuthanaka record. I've had a hard time getting into it. Maybe I need to return to it one more time. There really do seem to be some big champions for this album in 2025. Unfortunately, I am just not one of them. Definitely one of the most experimental and bold projects the Latin scene has seen in a minute.

What do you think?
