Kid Cudi is defending Kanye ⁉️

The debate around Ye rages on as he continues to do more shows and performances and seemingly expand the number of people, friends, and fellow artists who are willing to go out to these shows in support of him.

But still, there are understandably skeptics as to where things are headed for Ye and have not forgotten many of the comments that he was making a little over a year ago at this point.

Namely, Peter Rosenberg, who then got pushback from none other than Kid Cudi. Cudi is obviously a long-time associate and collaborator with Ye, has made some of his best stuff with him, and because of that proximity is going to see him in a different light than your average person.

Meanwhile, Rosenberg is literally a part of the community that Ye was mercilessly targeting with anti-Semitic remarks for months upon months upon months. At the end of the day, I feel like if people choose not to support Ye over his past comments, that's completely valid and understandable. Even if it has been a year out, in the grander scheme of things, for such terrible things that were being said at the time, that's not that much time.

But also, given the size of Ye's platform still to this day, I think it is in everyone's best interest overall that he stay on the straight and narrow and continue doing whatever he's been doing as of late to prevent himself from going back into a spiral.

Even if, right now, it's still too early for some people to be forgiving of Ye for what he said, him getting better is ultimately a net positive.

What do you think?
