Yeah, some pretty good albums have dropped over the past month or so.

New ASAP Rocky's a banger. New Xiu Xiu covers albums, good. I was also surprised by the J. Cole.

But some stuff that I was really enjoying, though, that new idk. mixtape, Even the Devil Smiles. Really amazing project of personal growth for him. Incredible beat choices, the versatility of this man.

Another rap release that I've really, truly been loving and is really pushing the boundaries for the genre is the new By Storm album, My Ghosts Go Ghost. Definitely one of the most mind-bending things you will put your ears on in 2026. And honestly, an album of the year contender for me.

And I've also been enjoying the heck out of the new Mandy, Indiana album, Urgh. If you're looking for some industrially-flavored, danceable noise rock, look no further than this album, sick Billy Woods feature on it, too.

And as far as smaller releases, definitely want to shout out the new Westside Cowboy project. Heroes, new heroes of the windmill scene.

And also Aliyah's Interlude, her new EP. Lots of energy, a sense of humor, impeccable grooves, catchy choruses, just great energy all around.
