"It's just come to my attention that there's a TikTok drama going around because a 25-year-old attended my concert and was basically complaining that there were too many tweens there. I was making too many brain rot jokes, and she just thought it was a cringe concert." – sombr
Okay, seemingly sombr has stepped in it here. And what I mean by that is that he posted a very public response to a pretty viral TikTok that was leveling some criticisms against a live performance he gave recently. This woman's video right here, to be specific.
sombr's response has actually drawn a bunch of attention to many of the more important criticisms and observations that were brought up in this woman's video, mostly that despite knowing his fan base tends to be very young, he was making a lot of very questionable jokes on stage.
"There was a moment in between songs where he literally just randomly went, 'Bark for me," and you hear the arena of 13, 14, 15-year-old girls start barking and then immediately followed up with, 'Yeah, Daddy.'"
But yeah, this original criticism video has led to others, all of which have collectively garnered millions and millions of views. And sombr jumping in to respond and control the narrative has really only made the situation worse seemingly.
If what this woman is saying is true, then him and his team really need to start rethinking how he presents himself in front of his very predominantly young fan base.
