F**K YOU

Hi everyone, Disthany Scusstano here, the internet's busiest music nerd.

Hope you are doing well, and let's talk about two very different women in this video. Singer-songwriter extraordinaire, Olivia Rodrigo, and right-wing political talking head, Megyn Kelly.

This discussion starts, though, around a very polarizing and controversial topic in the media currently that is the Cornell 7, and I refer to them as that for algorithmic purposes. Now, the full details of this story I'm not going to adjudicate here on this channel. I encourage you to read in-depth the many articles that have been written about this topic, but as a baseline, I will say this, knowing there are a lot of young, teenage, and college-age men in my audience. Group sex experiences facilitated by alcohol, hard drugs, shaky or uninformed consent, group chats, and maybe whatever fraternity social circle you may or may not be a part of are never a good thing, never a good idea. I guarantee will lead to a nightmare situation, trauma, pain, anguish, legal repercussions.

I'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade or prevent you guys from having fulfilling and formative sexual experiences. But anything along those lines, regardless of what form it takes, should always inform full and clear consent, sound minds and sound bodies, respect as well as mutual pleasure and understanding. And anything less than all of that, you're massively fucking up. And if the consequences for your actions in those situations don't destroy you, your conscience will.

Now, with that being said, with this top topic being so huge on social media, in the news media, lots of celebrities and people with big platforms are speaking out and saying their piece. Enter one Olivia Rodrigo, who not only has one of the best pop albums of the year- actually, the best pop album of the year- but also has an amazing and growing track record when it comes to political activism. She has been in the trenches recently, not only for reproductive rights and contraceptive access, but also the Daisy Chain Festival that she very successfully pulled off not too long ago, raised millions and millions and millions of dollars for some amazing causes. So of course, with this story making the rounds, it would only be a matter of time before it caught Olivia's eye and she said something, which she did.

And honestly, I think her statement was pretty straightforward and sensible in terms of putting shame on institutions like Cornell who essentially have been dragging their feet on this whole thing, and asking for justice as well as reparations for those who are affected in such situations. These statements were made via Instagram story posts, and I'm sure fell under the radar of many who don't really follow Olivia and her work. But these statements did not get by Olivia's number one fan, apparently, Megyn Kelly.

I stand with Jane Doe. I mean, good Lord. Her bravery reverberates across the country and the crimes against her will not go unpunished. Crimes. Olivia's figured it out, folks. What she lived through matters, and so does the failure of those who could have intervened but chose not to. She deserves answers, consequences, and lasting change. Olivia did not stop there, posting a list of demands from an organization called Freeform, which claims to be, quote, about ending gender-based violence by building economic freedom.
Here's a list of demands, some of them. Not only include accountability, justice, and repair, we must also demand economic reparations. Colleges and universities need to provide full scholarships for survivors to complete their education. That includes money for therapy and healing, new housing, and anything else they need. And to top it all off, she posted a story, Olivia did, about a Columbia University student who went to class carrying a mattress on her back, claiming she had been raped on the mattress. But that story is years old, and her alleged rapist was found not responsible by the woke left-leaning university that was dying to affirm the findings, but couldn't. And then the woke leftist DA in New York declined to bring charges.

I want to interrupt here to say, isn't it funny that she seems to have more ire here for Olivia than any of the seven dudes here who are being accused accused of what they're being accused of? It's weird how using a group chat to unconsensually invite other guys in on a group sex dynamic is somehow worse in her mind than speaking out against that. But wait, there's more.

Olivia, in sum, you don't know what the fuck you're talking about. Shut up and stick to singing. I liked you better when you were in front of a microphone singing your weird little depressing songs. Shut up. You don't know what you're talking about. It's better to keep your mouth shut and let people suspect you're an idiot than to open it and prove them right. Ever hear that saying? It applies to you, sweetheart. Be quiet. Go away. See you at the concert. Got it? It's just, it's amazing.
Adults are talking, okay? Take your seat. We don't need the participation of know-nothing morons who have been auto-tuned into fame and suddenly think they have something profound to say on the culture wars. Sit down and be quiet. Got it? Or I'm going to have to start pulling your music and your lyrics and take a deep dive into exactly the kind of messaging that you are pushing on young women because I guarantee it's not going to end well for you, Olivia. Be quiet. The adults are talking.

It's crazy how Megyn in this segment spends more time not even making the case for these guys or making the case against Olivia, kind of taking the stance that she did, which I think tells you if there was a better and more solid argument to be made here, Megyn would most likely be making it. But instead, she spends the whole tail end of this segment telling Olivia to not only shut up, but threatening her.

Ooh, if you say anything else, we're going to look at your lyrics, girl. We're going to go through all those lyrics and see how you're melting the minds of young American girls. Rah!

Meanwhile, when it comes to mainstream pop stardom, Olivia has maybe one of the most squeaky-clean records out there. The worst thing you could accuse her of is getting a lot of 14-year-olds to swear. But here's Megyn Kelly acting like if she's dissecting the lyrics to her new record, she's really going to tear Olivia apart and expose her to the world.

But Megyn, you have one of the freakiest, weirdest, and most shameful rap sheets and track records of anybody in media. And honestly, it's kind of hypocritical for you to be going at Olivia at this particular time over this particular topic. We only need to go back to your ejection from the Fox News apparatus, which is why you're now doing this slop content over at SiriusXM, because you originally left citing a culture of sexual harassment there, which is, and I hope I don't need to be making this connection here for you, a reflection of the sexist, patriarchal, male-dominated social structure that also led to this story that you're talking about here. Believe it or not, they're actually connected.

Not only that, but you have faced, on multiple occasions, incredible instances of sexism being thrown at you by the current president right now.

Donald Trump: She starts asking me all sorts of ridiculous questions. And, you know, you could see there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever.
Megyn Kelly: I don't give a s**t about Trump getting handsy with somebody 20 years ago. I want someone who will close the border, which he has. I want someone who will keep boys out of my daughter's sports, which he has. I want someone who will stand up to the insane DEI policies so that white kids will stop hearing in school that they're born with some original sin from which they cannot recover, which he has.

As recently as this year, you were on camera defending Donald Trump in the midst of all of the Epstein files hitting the fan, essentially arguing that everything he was allegedly involved in here wouldn't even qualify as, I'll say, a PDF-type activity and say that instead it was e-biphilia.

Oh yeah, it's, it's not quite at that age range. It's like also at a terrible age range, but not quite adult?

I've said this before, but just as a reminder, I do know somebody very, very close to this case who is in a position to know virtually everything. Not everything, but virtually everything. And this person has told me from the start, years and years ago, that Jeffrey Epstein, in this person's view, was not a pedophile.
This is this person's view, who was there for a lot of this, but that he was into the barely legal type. He liked 15-year-old girls. And I, I realize this is disgusting. I'm definitely not trying to make an excuse for this. I'm just giving you facts. That he wasn't into like eight-year-olds, but he liked the very young teen types that could pass for even younger than they were, but would look legal to a passerby. And that is what I believed. And that was what I reliably was told for many years. I don't know what's true about him, but we have yet to see anybody come forward and say, I was a, like a, I was under 10. I was under 14 when I first came within his purview. I look, it's, you can say that's a distinction without a difference. No, it's not.
I think there is a difference. There's, there's a difference between a 15-year-old and a five-year-old, it's just.

Girl, you are insane for that. I understand that you're on your high horse because you're talking directly to your audience, and they're too stupid and too moronic to call you on your bullshit.

But believe me when I say, Olivia truly has nothing to fear coming from you because you will literally excuse child abuse so long as it's a conservative doing it. That is the deal that you made with the devil. You are quite literally bowing at the altar of Satan.

So I think I'm done with that. We're putting Megyn back in the trash, putting her back in the garbage. And now we're done with this interaction. Can you please go away?

Let me know what you guys think about all of this in the comments. I'm sure you will. Over here next to my head is another video that you can check out. Hit that up or a link to subscribe to the channel.

Anthony Fantano, Olivia Rodrigo, forever.
