Hey, Anthony. Show me some of your favorite comeback albums in your collection.
Will do. Let's go.
Random Access Memories from Daft Punk. A really great, epic album. Pretty much an homage to all the music and artists and styles that have influenced the duo's music for years. Much better than their previous Human After All.
The Strokes, The New Abnormal, really the band's best record in years. That's pretty widely accepted by most fans. They teamed up with Rick Rubin on this one, and killer production, killer songs. I mean, it's really just the Strokes at their best, but with some new winding, slightly more, I guess, explorative song structures.
Shout out to Swans, To Be Kind, one of the best experimental rock records of all time. Not the first record the band would have come out with when they did their 2010s comeback run. Really set the tone for a new chapter for the band.
Vampire Weekend's latest LP, Only God Was Above Us. Excellent album. Certainly much better and more well received than Father of the Bride was previous to it and really restored faith in a lot of fans who didn't know if we were going to get another great Vampire Weekend record.
What do you think?
