Hey everyone, just stopping in to see what we're sacrificing Chappel Roan over today.

Are we tearing her limb from limb over the actions of a security guard who came out and took responsibility for this whole incident over in Brazil now? Or are we burning her at the stake for having a family that might have had some money? Or are we calling her the worst person in the world for wanting to not be bothered by paparazzi?

The continued smears and attacks against her just feel annoyingly selective. To the point where I have to ask: what are you actually angry about? Because the way some people act, it's as if Chappell has like billionaire family members all around who just basically kept dumping money into her until she got famous. Meanwhile, what she was telling us was that she was a poor, cold, starving orphan on the street, just playing her songs to unassuming passersby until she got her big break.

Like, is Chappell Roan perfect? No. Can she be a little annoying sometimes? Yes. And maybe my opinion would change if she did something that was heinous and beyond the pale, but I've yet to see that, honestly, especially in an age where there are still plenty of abusers around in the industry currently, uh, seeing successful careers.
