CDs i’m thankful for 🥰

Hey, Anthony. What? What are five CDs you're thankful for?

Oh, okay. Good question. Let's get thankful. Here are some CDs I'm thankful for.

Starting with this Soundpieces: Da Antidote! CD from Lootpack. This is a hip hop collective that Madlib was all a big part of back in the day. The production and the loops, the samples, the chops on this thing are crazy.

I'm also thankful for this Earth album, Bees Made Honey in the Lion's Skull. It's this slow, trippy, just high high density and colorful instrumental rock music that's a little jazzy at points as well.

Also thankful for Wonderful Rainbow, one of my favorite noise rock albums of all time from Lightning Bolt. It's bass. It's drums. It's madness. It's twisted. It's frantic. It's insanity. It's fun.

Also thankful for the first LCD Soundsystem album [the self-titled]. So thankful for it. It's turned brown over the years. That's how thankful for this I am. That's how long I've been thankful for this.

Also thankful for good compilations off of Soundway Records, like this Ghana Special compilation. If you're looking to familiarize yourself with high life music or any number of various international blends of soul and rock and funk, Soundway has you covered.

Yeah, there you go. That's what I'm feeling thankful for. Okay?

What do you think?
