From the way people have been reacting to this Billie Eilish clip, you would think she just did the worst thing in the world. But I don't know, personally speaking, I don't think asking for or recommending a little bit of wealth distribution, especially during a time where it seems like people's SNAP benefits are going to be cut this fall and winter and maybe even longer, yeah, might not actually be a bad thing, especially given that I don't think your average person really understands what a billion dollars is, much less what it means for some of the people in that room where Billie was speaking to have tens or hundreds of billions of dollars, which instead could be going to funding schools, feeding people.

It's been crazy seeing people be like, Well, Billie is rich, too.

Well, not only did she give away $10 million to a variety of different causes after making this statement. And not for nothing, even though Billie's comments were obviously meant for some of the richest in the room where she was speaking, Taylor Swift fans have just been coming for Billie's neck in reaction to this clip, which honestly, I think is just a self-report.
