I like Geese, you like Geese, and you know who else likes Geese? Julian Casablancas of The Strokes. He likes Geese, as shown by this recent post on his Instagram where he is celebrating the new album, Getting Killed.

But also another part of the caption here that is very funny. It's right here:

"Another L take by Connecticut Dork Fattano. Heart's not in it anymore, maybe? Time to f*cking retire?"

This is very funny because you would think, given his comments, I don't know, I hated the album and crapped all over it – but I loved it! And it is one of my favorite albums of the year, I swear.

It's not the reaction that I want, but it is definitely comforting to know that I've still got followers and viewers out there, and I'm still turning people on to music because obviously, Julian wouldn't even know who Geese is without me and seeing the review. He saw what I said. He disagreed with parts of it, I'm sure. But I'm still out here putting people on to good music.

Julian, you're welcome. Just sometimes when you put your opinions out there, people are going to disagree, and that's okay.

Even if Julian continues to want me to die, I still have a deep love for many a Strokes album and the first two Voidz records.
