3 new albums you should listen to RIGHT NOW

Hey everyone, it's Uncle Music, and I listen to new music.

Here are 3 new albums I have really been enjoying that I think you should hear.

First, the new Jack Harlow.

Just kidding, I've actually been enjoying the new Bill Callahan album, My Days of '58, which I truly think is one of the best singer-songwriter records of the year. Really immersive, jammy instrumentals, Bill's baritone vocals, which are still killer to this day, and shockingly, a lot of funny lyrics too.

Next, shout out to the new Gena album, The Pleasure Is Yours. Singer Liv.e and producer Kareem Riggins come together on a record that is this wonderful mash of hip-hop and neo-soul, jazz, electronic music, and everything in between. Apparently no samples on this thing, all beautiful original instrumentation, killer casual vibes, and artfully pulled together like you're listening to a crazy, wild, all-over-the-place beat tape.

And of course, I have really been enjoying the new Gorillaz album, The Mountain. 2D and the gang are back with one of Gorillaz's most melancholic and also introspective albums ever. An album loaded with great features from the likes of Black Thought. Some beautiful versatile instrumentation and orchestrations, if I say so myself. Many fans are saying it's one of the band's best records in years, too, and I don't necessarily disagree.

But there you go — music, yeah, that stuff's cool.

What do you think?
