Hey everyone, it's Mr. Music. I'm here to talk to you about three albums I am really enjoying lately. Let's do it!

Starting off with the new Standing on the Corner album. This thing is wild, wacky, completely absurd fun. Jazz, funk, soul, pop, hip-hop, and everything in between. Dished out in the zaniest, messiest way possible with a level of unhinged musicianship that is, honest to God, pretty impressive.

After that, I would like to shout out the new Chat Pile album, Who Loves the Sun? This album is madness, it is pain, it is suffering, it is unholy, unadulterated darkness, with a nice, noisy, sludge metal edge to it. With, honestly, a few nu-metal influences cropping up here and there, especially with those super down-tuned bass lines. The Korn vibes are coming through.

And finally, I would love to shout out the new Ty Segall record, Chrome. Ty has got the band back together on this one, and they are a rockin', well-oiled unit. This record has a lot more of a visceral tone to it than his past couple of solo efforts, that's for sure. Sick riffs, wild layers, a lot of intensity, a lot of color. Maybe my favorite from him since Emotional Mugger.
