New York’s NYMPH is the very stuff adventurous music is made of. Their debut, self-titled album is unapologetic as it improvises through a mix of free jazz, noise, and various shades of Middle Eastern music. This album is out now on the Social Registry. Download a track from it

This band is Radical Dads. A Brooklyn outfit with a weird name isn’t that uncommon, but the fierce rock ‘n’ roll passion laid down on this song is. The band has an album and a 7” for “Reckless” on the way, so stay tuned to their website. Dig on

Live performances from California’s Religious Girls shot by the good people at terroreyes.tv. The songs performed are “Care Harder” and “Charity.” They display some tight musicianship, nimble improvisations, and some pretty hectic noise. These guys clearly have fun doing what they do. TND TIP: Brush your teeth.
