Pop star Zara Larsson has canceled a December 3 show in Abu Dhabi, seemingly over the United Arab Emirates involvement in the civil war in Sudan.
Larsson, in a now deleted comment, responded to a fan pleasing with her to cancel, stating "I will not be going to Abu Dhabi."

The United Arab Emirates government have been allegedly funding the Rapid Support Forces, a paramilitary group in Sudan that have participated in ethnic cleansing and civilian torture.
No formal announcement has been made of the shows cancelation as of this writing.
Larsson has been known to speak out against injustice. She refused to perform the Eurovision halftime show in 2024 over Israel's inclusion in Eurovision. Larsson also called out the White House recently on Tik Tok for using her song "Midnight Sun" in a pro ICE Tik Tok.
