Zach Bryan offers harsh criticism of Kid Rock's halftime show

Zach Bryan didn’t mince words about the so-called “All-American Halftime Show” (Kid Rock and Turning Point USA’s counterprogramming to Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl LX performance), calling the whole thing “embarrassing as hell.”

“I don’t care what side you’re on,” Bryan wrote on his Instagram Stories. “A bunch of adults throwing temper tantrums and making their own halftime show is embarrassing as hell and the most cringe shit on the planet.”

He doubled down with a clip of his friend Harley Carmichael dramatically shielding his eyes from Bad Bunny, captioned, “what kid rock actually thinks is happening across America.” That was followed by a selfie of the two of them, Bryan joking, “Forgive my boy… he is hemorrhaging followers, he watched Bad Bunny with me I swear.” It was the kind of low-stakes trolling Bryan seems increasingly comfortable with — online, pointed, and very much on purpose.

Despite the jokes (and the heavy lip-syncing), TPUSA has already announced that the “All-American Halftime Show” will be back next year, apparently undeterred by the internet’s collective groan.

Bryan, meanwhile, is riding a very different wave. His new album With Heaven on Top came out quite recently, and he is going out on tour soon. Check all those dates below:
