Singer-songwriter Marissa Nadler has announced a brand new record. New Radiations, her 10th official LP, is out August 15 via Sacred Bones and Bella Union.

With the news comes the release of the title track, alongside a self-directed music video. Watch and listen below:

Of the new single, Nadler offers:

"My narrator (whether these are first person songs or not really depends on how you want to listen to them) is feeling stuck, depressed, and frozen in a world after a tough few years for the world. Regardless, the ‘psychic vibrations and new radiations’ take their toll. The cosmic darkness we live in creeps into the psyche—but the character reaches clarity. As the song unfolds, the screen shatters, the ice breaks, and a new world begins."

New Radiations was produced by Nadler, and was recorded at both Haptown Studios and at her home studio. Mixed by Randall Dunn – best known for work with bands like Sunn O))) and Earth – Nadler worked on the record with longtime musical ally Milky Burgess.
