Norwegian black metal trio Witch Club Satan is bringing its provocative diablerie to the Western Hemisphere for the first time in May, embarking on a 15-city tour across North America.
With the band brewing quite the buzz around their controversial live show, which features plenty of blood, nudity, and feminist empowerment, it was only a matter of time before the Norwegian spellcasters spread their black magick on a different continent.
“We feel like it’s the right time to head overseas and provide some much needed witchcraft,” the band stated in a press release. “Through social media, we have been invited by countless fans, asking us to come to the United States. Being welcomed is a big deal to us — and our main reason to travel is to give an invitation in return. In times of division and chaos, we hope to offer a shelter and community within our coven. We are preparing for a powerful ritual.”
Supporting the band will be UK-based musician Penelope Trappes and self-described "snuff pop pioneers" Patriarchy.
