Wax Jaw, the Philly punk rock outfit, have announced their debut album It Takes Guts!, out October 10 via Born Loser Records.

Along with the album announcement, the band has shared its lead single and video, “Lace Up”. Listen here:

The song is a celebration of queer sexual freedom, told through lead singer Shane Morgan’s own experience as a transmasculine person. If you have kids, you may have seen the band earlier this year on the show Albie’s Elevator, where they performed an original song.
