Wavves officially announce album, share Travis Barker-produced "Goner"

The kings of the beach are back. California rockers Wavves have returned with a new album, Spun, which will release June 6 via their own Ghost Ramp imprint. As was previously hinted at, it features a song produced by Blink-182's Travis Barker, "Goner", which is out now with a Brandon Dermer-directed video.

Watch/listen below:

On the song, lead singer Nathan Williams says:

"I had this song I had been sitting on, always revisited it and tried to record it a bunch of times but it was never just right. Eventually it was giving me PTSD. I was talking to Travis about doing some songs together and when I opened up the vault to him, this one jumped out so we laid it down and finally we got it right."

Spun is the band's first record since 2021's Hideaway, though they have kept busy. Earlier this year, they put out the single "So Long", and also started their own cannabis company. They also toured in 2023 with Cloud Nothings, and played their first show of 2025 in support of LA fire relief.

Wavves will also be hitting the road across North America in celebration of the album's release. Find those dates down below.
