Water From Your Eyes announce album and tour, share lead single

NYC indie darlings Water From Your Eyes have announced their 7th album, It's A Beautiful Place, due out August 22nd via Matador Records. Both Nate Amos and Rachel Brown have stepped away from the project to focus on their solo work (This Is Lorelei and thanks for coming respectively), but have reunited to follow up their 2023 critical breakout, Everyone's Crushed.

Nate Amos says of the album, “It ended up being about time, dinosaurs and space., We wanted to present a wide range of styles in a way that acknowledges everything’s just a tiny blip.”

Along with the album announcement, the duo have released lead single "Life Signs". Rachel Brown says of the video,

"Television has always been my biggest passion, and this video was mostly conceived from my desire to experiment with the tropes of genre. But I also think the medium lends itself to the idea of fitting an infinite amount of universes into a little box you can keep in your living room. I wanted the video to encapsulate as many worlds as the song does and to express an entire lifetime within a short few minutes."

Water From Your Eyes have also announced a tour to support the album, with the North American leg spanning September to November (with support from Her New Knife, Winter, and Dutch Interior), and the EU leg happening in November and December. See the full list of dates below.
