Pinkpantheress' "Stateside", despite being from her album Fancy That, which came out almost a year ago, has been climbing up the charts. Three months ago, it was at #100 on the Billboard Hot 100 – even making it to our Sleeper Hit Support Group column – but it has since made it to #6 last month. Adding to the hit's big success, Arlo Parks just performed a cover version of the song for BBC Radio 1.

The version of "Stateside" that has taken off on the charts is the remix, with a feature from Zara Larsson – which got even more popular after skater Alysa Liu used it for her Winter Olympics performance in February. But here, Parks covers the original version featured on Fancy That, with some indie rock smoothness on the guitar and synths for good measure.
