Today sees the return of Belgian singer/songwriter Maarten Devoldere, aka Warhaus, with news of his fourth solo album Karaoke Moon, which lands on 22 November via Play It Again Sam.
Devoldere, who also fronts indie-rock band Balthazar, created the album in an attic studio in Bruges with long-time collaborator Jasper Maekelberg over a period of 9 months, recording ten songs exploring themes of modern masculinity, Peter Pan syndrome, and red-blooded confessions. Lead single "Where The Names Are Real" falls into the third category, and unafraid to get a little corny with it.

Karaoke Moon features two songs with guest vocals from Belgian artist Sylvie Kreusch, who has her own new album, Comic Trip, coming out a couple of weeks earlier. The words of Nobel Prize in Literature winner Herman Hesse also make an appearance on "Zero One Code".
