VMAs 2024: who's performing and how to watch

The MTV Video Music Awards are back once again this year, premiering tonight, September 11th, at 8 p.m. EST. The show will take place at UBS Arena in New York City where superstar rapper Megan Thee Stallion will be hosting.

You can watch the VMAs on MTV tonight. Paramount also owns MTV, so there are other networks they will be casting the show on. You can watch it on Paramount Network, BET, BET Her, MTV2, Nickelodeon, CMT, CC, Logo, Pop, TV Land, and VH1.

There are also other options to watch it if you don't have cable to access these networks. Popular streaming platforms like Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, and others include MTV or one of the other networks that will have the show.

There are a lot of huge performers tonight. According to MTV, Eminem will be kicking off tonight's show with a performance.

Taylor Swift leads with the most nominations this year with 12. If she wins five or more tonight, she'll pass Beyoncé for the most VMAs in history. Post Malone and Eminem also have a fair share of nominations this year, with Malone having 11 and Eminem having eight.
