Valley drops new single ahead of upcoming album, 'Water the Flowers, Pray for a Garden'

“Let it Rain” is the newest single by Toronto-based pop outfit, Valley. This is the fourth single promoting their upcoming album, Water the Flowers, Pray for a Garden, out August 30th via Capitol Records/Universal Music Canada. Consisting of Rob Laska on vocals, Alex Dimauro on bass, and Karah James on drums, this is the band’s fifth album and the first without former member Michael Brandolino, who left the band in March of 2024.

In an Instagram post, the band describes the project as “an album of grief and the journey of understanding that everything in existence is ephemeral.” According to a press release, the band dedicates this album to their fan base, known as the ‘Val Pals’.

The band will be embarking on a tour of North America to promote the album, starting on September 28th in Philadelphia, PA, and ending on December 13th 2024, in Toronto, ON. The band will be supported by indie-pop duo Mickey Darling and singer/songwriter Charli Adams as opening acts.
