Country superstar Tyler Childers has announced his heavily-anticipated seventh album Snipe Hunter, due out July 25 via Hickman Holler/RCA.
Produced by Rick Rubin, with additional production by Sylvan Esso's Nick Sanborn and Childers himself, the follow-up to 2023's Rustin' in the Rain will feature 13 tracks; however, song names and album details have not yet been released.
The album's first single, "Nose on the Grindstone", was released today on all major streaming platforms, and has been a song Childers has played live for years.
Check out the studio version and official live video for the song below:
"Daddy worked like a mule minin’ Pike County coal / ’Til he fucked up his back and couldn’t work anymore," begins the song. "He said one of these days, you’ll get out of these hills / Keep your nose on the grindstone and out of the pills."
Childers is on tour now through the fall, including shows with Charley Crockett, Hayes Carll, Medium Build, and The Hold Steady, among others.
