Among many of the world's uncertainties, one thing is certain: US President Donald Trump cannot escape his ties to convicted sex trafficker and pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

After jokes made during Sunday's 68th Annual Grammy Awards, Trump quickly took to the Internet to lash out at the ceremony, calling the broadcast "virtually unwatchable" and threatening to sue host Trevor Noah.

As Billie Eilish was announced as the winner for Song of the Year, Noah joked:

“That’s a Grammy that every artist wants — almost as much as Trump wants Greenland. Which makes sense because, since Epstein’s gone, he needs a new island to hang out with Bill Clinton. I told you, it’s my last year! What are you going to do about it?”

This, obviously, caused Trump to share a lengthy post on his Truth Social website, talking all sorts of rubbish and threatening to sue a comedian for doing his job.

“The Grammy Awards are the WORST, virtually unwatchable!” Trump wrote following the broadcast. “CBS is lucky not to have this garbage litter their airwaves any longer.”

Going after Noah, the president added: “The host, Trevor Noah, whoever he may be, is almost as bad as Jimmy Kimmel at the Low Ratings Academy Awards… Noah, a total loser, better get his facts straight, and get them straight fast.”

Trump then threatened legal action, writing that he would be “sending my lawyers to sue this poor, pathetic, talentless, dope of an M.C., and suing him for plenty$,” before concluding: “Get ready Noah, I’m going to have some fun with you!”

Neither the Recording Academy nor Noah's reps have publicly responded to Trump's threat and other remarks as of Sunday at press time.

Noah hosted the Grammys, which aired Sunday night, for the sixth consecutive year, with the comedian edgier this year than years past, noting at one point that this year's awards show would be his last time hosting.
