Trevor Noah to leave Grammy hosting gig after this year

This year's Grammy awards will be Trevor Noah's sixth outing as host, but it'll also be his last. Noah is the second longest running host of the annual telecast, trailing only original host Andy Williams, who hosted the first seven broadcasts in the 70s. This year's ceremony will take place on Sunday, February 1st at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

Of Noah's departure Grammys executive producer Ben Winston says “I am beyond thrilled to welcome Trevor Noah back to host the Grammys for his sixth, and sadly, final time. He’s been the most phenomenal host of the show. He’s so smart, so funny, and such a true fan of the artists and music. His impact on the show has been truly spectacular, and we can’t wait to do it together one last time.” It seems there are no clear hints towards a potential replacement for Noah.

This will also be the show’s final year on CBS, ending a run with the network that began in 1973. The Recording Academy announced in October 2024 that the show would move to ABC, Hulu and Disney+ starting with the 2027 show.
