Nine Inch Nails has had a remarkable 2025, with their "Peel It Back" tour and score for the new Tron film, Ares. While Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross haven't made a traditional album under the NIN banner since 2018's Bad Witch (or 2020's instrumental Ghosts V and VI), that could soon change.
In a conversation with our friends at Consequence, which came about after NIN won their Live Act of the Year award, Reznor revealed that he and Ross were cooking up more Nails.
"We are working on new stuff and we're excited to work on it, and we are prioritizing working on Nine Inch Nails over [...] taking on every single thing that comes up in the other category.
"The difference between now and a year ago is the fuse has been lit and the desire is there."
A further leg of the "Peel It Back" tour will take place in the first half of the year, and the band will play Coachella with recent opening act Boys Noize as Nine Inch Noize. Tour dates below:
