Multi award-winning composer duo Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have teamed up with Live Nation to launch Future Ruins, a new “first-of-its-kind” music festival and “cinematic ceremony,” bringing some of the world’s most influential film and television composers to the stage. Taking place on November 8 at Los Angeles Equestrian Center, the festival will feature reimagined and specially-curated performances set across three stages.
“There’s no headliner. There’s no hierarchy. This is a stacked lineup of visionaries doing something you might not see again,” say the duo in a press release, with Reznor adding: “It’s about giving people who are, literally, the best in the world at taking audiences on an emotional ride via music the opportunity to tell new stories in an interesting live setting.”
Artists confirmed include Reznor and Ross themselves, alongside Hildur Guðnadóttir, Danny Elfman, Questlove, John Carpenter, Goblin, Terence Blanchard, Volker Bertelmann (aka Hauschka), Isobel Waller-Bridge, (former) The White Lotus composer Cristobal Tapia de Veer, and many more.

Tickets go on sale next Wednesday (21 May) at noon PT via FutureRuins.com.
