Marking what would have been her 38th birthday today, the family of avant-pop producer SOPHIE have revealed the full tracklist for the upcoming posthumous self-titled album, out 27 September via Transgressive Records.

As well as the four songs we've already heard – “Reason Why” with Kim Petras and BC Kingdom, “Berlin Nightmare” with Evita Manji, “One More Time” with Popstar, and “Exhilarate” with Bibi Bourelly – there are 11 other collaborations and an introductory track titled "Intro (The Full Horror)".

BC Kingdom is confirmed for two more tracks, "Live in My Truth" and "Why Lies", both of which also feature pop artist LIZ, who previously collaborated with SOPHIE on the songs "When I Rule the World" and "High School Luv", while both Popstar and Evita Manji appear on one more song each.

Newly announced names for the project include PC Music's Hannah Diamond, Russian DJ and producer Nina Kraviz, multimedia artist Juliana Huxtable, in-demand producer Doss, who previously remixed SOPHIE's "Whole New World", and Canadian artist Cecile Believe, who co-wrote five songs from SOPHIE's massively influential 2018 album Oil of Every Pearl's Un-Insides.

Earlier on today, Google unveiled an honorary Doodle to celebrate SOPHIE's birthday:

SOPHIE tragically died in 2021 at the age of 34, after accidentally slipping and falling from a rooftop in Athens, Greece, while out watching the full moon. The upcoming album has been painstakingly put together by her friends and family in the years since her death. When announcing the album in June, SOPHIE's family wrote in a statement:

"We have been finding comfort in the music Sophie left us, it is a gift that we truly cherish as we try to find a way forward, with Sophie forever at the center of our worlds... Sophie didn’t often speak publicly of her private life, preferring to put everything she wanted to articulate in her music. It feels only right to share with the world the music she hoped to release, in the belief that we can all connect with her in this, the form she loved most.”
