At a recent performance in Phoenix on June 19th, Megan Thee Stallion took the opportunity during to share her desire for a joint musical project with Swedish artist Tove Lo.

During the show, Megan held up a sign from a fan in the audience, and urged Tove Lo to consider joining her on a joint project.

She said:

“Tove Lo, I don’t know if you’re seeing this, but we gotta do a song, because they’re not fucking around. Somebody record this for my girl and tell her we need a song.”

It looks like Tove Lo has responded positively, and honestly, who wouldn't? Through a social media post, she responded to Megan Thee Stallion’s proposition by saying, “I’m so ready @theestallion. Let me know where and when.”

For those out of the loop, Megan went viral back in 2022, sparked by a moment during an Instagram Live where she mispronounced Tove Lo's name as "Toovay Lo" while preparing for a show and listening to Tove's track "Habits," followed by a "Period!"

The two later met backstage at LA Pride in the Park in 2023, and recreated the meme.
