Black Sabbath adds Guns ‘N’ Roses and more to 'Back to the Beginning'

Earlier this month, metal titans Black Sabbath announced its return for a one-day festival extravaganza titled Back to the Beginning.

Commencing Saturday, July 5, at Villa Park, Birmingham, UK, Back to the Beginning sees Black Sabbath command a stadium with rock and metal's most respected bands in celebration of Ozzy Osbourne's legacy for his final show.

Today, Black Sabbath has announced further names to the lineup, including Guns N’ Roses, Tool and Rival Sons, who will join already announced Metallica, Slayer, Alice in Chains, Gojira, Lamb of God, and others.

Speaking about this special occasion, music director Tom Morello says, “This will be the greatest heavy metal show ever.”

Back to the Beginning sold out tickets within the first 10 minutes of its announcement.
