Tokyo’s buzzy screamo band soccer. surprise-drop sophomore album 'Internet'

Ricky Adams

The Tokyo-based screamo band soccer. surprised fans by dropping their sophomore album Internet today. The band had this to say about the record:

“This album is about what the modern internet has brought us, and about the life of you and me.”

They also shared a list of influences, including Blind Equation, Your Arms Are My Cocoon, and Texas3000. If you’re into any of those bands, you’ll definitely want to check this out. Tracks like “I wish someday the world will lose its heat (feat. wearingdress)” stand out as a nod to early 2000s post-hardcore with a splash of sasscore, all delivered through guttural, modern sludge-gaze vocals.

Internet is available now on Bandcamp, with CD pre-orders also available.
