For weeks, fans around the world have openly speculated whether Academy Award-nominated actor Timothée Chalamet was secretly pulling double duty as British rapper EsDeeKid.
Fans and publications alike began analyzing eyebrow shapes and eye color in the pursuit of cracking the case, and, to Chalamet's credit, he played into it, noting that all would be revealed in due time.
That time came on December 19 when, in a post on social media, Chalamet jumped on EsDeeKid's track "4 Raws," rapping along with the Liverpool-born artist in the pursuit of further promoting his new film Marty Supreme.

Now, for eagle-eyed fans, Chalamet has been hitting the promotional trail hard to get the word out for his new A24 picture, from late-night show appearances to merch pop-ups, and even his own blimp, which flew over Camp Flog Gnaw to support his fellow Marty Supreme actor, Tyler, the Creator. The movie, which drops on Christmas Day, is already receiving Oscar buzz, and Chalamet is only fueling those flames with a strong push on social media.
Will Chalamet win the Academy Award for Best Actor? Only time will tell, but with a second career as EsDeeKid no longer on the table, only time will tell what other shenanigans he has up his Marty Supreme jacket sleeve for his campaign.
What do you think?
