Tigers Jaw return with new album 'Lost Under You', share new track

Today, American emo band Tigers Jaw announced their long-awaited new album Lost On You, out on March 27th, 2026. Released via Hopeless Records, this will be their first album in more than five years.

"Head is Like a Sinking Stone", the lead single from Lost On You, is out today. Check is out alongside a tour footage-filled music video here:

Tigers Jaw co-founder Ben Walsh spoke of the single's inspiration being from a reoccuring dream he had as a child:

β€œWhen I was a kid I had a strange recurring dream of jumping off the high dive at Nay Aug Park pool in Scranton, and after jumping in, time would just sort of freeze and I’d just be stuck there underwater. The premise was pretty terrifying but the visual of sunshine reflecting on the ripples of water from the perspective of being beneath the surface was always kind of hauntingly beautiful. The chorus lyric sprung from a recollection of that dream and the rest followed. It serves as a kind of reminder to myself that beauty can be found in unexpected situations."

Lost On You is said to "contain portals taking us between different parts of the band's life and even our own lives," and dedicated fans will appreciate various connections that lyrics make between timeless Tigers Jaw motifs and even the most abstract concepts.

Tigers Jaw will be playing a special hometown album release show at Union Transfer in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on April 16th, 2026. Check details down below.
