Canadian rock band Three Days Grace have announced that their former lead singer, Adam Gontier, is rejoining the band. Gontier is now making new music with the band, and there will also be a tour on the way.
Three Days Grace made the announcement official on Instagram:
Adam Gontier originally left the band in 2013. When he left, the band announced that Gontier had "health issues" which led to his departure. Gontier explained further that his departure from the band was because he needed to "move on."
"After twenty years of being part of an ever evolving band, I have been inspired by life, to move on and to continue to evolve on my own terms," Gontier said.
Matt Walst, former singer of My Darkest Days, then became the singer of Three Days Grace. Walst is also the brother of Brad Walst, who is the bassist for Three Days Grace.
The band announced on Instagram that both Adam and Matt will be in the band, sharing lead vocal duties. Adam Gontier is responsible for belting some of Three Days Grace's most iconic tracks in the 2000s, so his return has fans of the band everywhere quite excited.
