The Strokes announce two US shows ahead of Austin City Limits Music Festival

The Strokes have announced two warm-up shows in the US ahead of the Austin City Limits Music Festival (ACL).

The indie-rockers have scheduled two new intimate sets, one at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on September 27, and the next at the Abraham Chavez Theatre in El Paso, Texas on October 1 – just two days before the first weekend of ACL, in Texas as well, where the Julian Casablancas-fronted band will top the bill alongside Sabrina Carpenter, Doechii, and more.

You can sign up for presale access now on their official website. All tickets go on sale this Friday, August 8, at 10am local time.

The Strokes haven’t hit up a stage together since their 2023 tour ended on September 5, and the one-off concert they gave for Kina Collins' congressional campaign fundraiser on March 8, 2024. They also haven’t released an album since the 2020 Grammy-winning record The New Abnormal.

10/01 El Paso, TX @ Abraham Chavez Theatre
