After six years, The Strokes have announced a new album, Reality Awaits.
On the heels of two shows in San Francisco and ahead of their set at Coachella, the group has announced the follow-up to The New Abnormal, which comes out this Summer via RCA, as they have announced in a teaser video. Watch below:

The band recently appeared to be teasing new music after they shared a link to a Laylo page featuring four horses pulling a cassette tape, where fans could sign-up with their phone number.
If you signed up, you'd receive a text message saying they'll "try to share something soon" and to send your mailing address to a phone number.
Recently, many users on Reddit reported that they got a text about a FedEx package shipping this week. This led them to think it's whatever surprise they have in store for fans, which now makes more sense after the official album announcement.
