The Osbourne family will host the world premiere of Ozzy & Black Sabbath: Back to the Beginning with a purple carpet event Wednesday, October 14, at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles.

The concert film, documenting the final performances of Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath's founding lineup, opens in theaters worldwide October 28 for a limited run.

A limited number of tickets for the premiere are available here, with 50% of ticket proceeds benefiting Los Angeles homeless charities. Tickets for the theatrical release are available at backtothebeginning.com.

Filmed July 5, 2025 at Villa Park in Birmingham, England, the film captures the star-studded Back to the Beginning farewell concert, which marked Osbourne's final performance just 17 days before his death.

The historic show reunited Osbourne with original Black Sabbath bandmates Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward for the first time in more than two decades.

Hosted by actor Jason Momoa, with Tom Morello serving as musical director, the sold-out concert featured performances by Alice in Chains, Anthrax, Gojira, Guns N' Roses, Halestorm, Lamb of God, Mastodon, Metallica, Pantera, Rival Sons, Slayer and Tool.

The event also featured all-star performances with Adam Wakeman, Andrew Watt, Billy Corgan, Chad Smith, David Draiman, David Ellefson, Jake E. Lee, K.K. Downing, Mike Bordin, Nuno Bettencourt, Ghost's Papa V Perpetua, Ronnie Wood, Rudy Sarzo, Sammy Hagar, Sleep Token's II, Steven Tyler, Travis Barker, Vernon Reid, Whitfield Crane and Yungblud.

The two-and-a-half-hour film celebrates the legacy of Black Sabbath through performances by some of rock and heavy metal's biggest names.

Also featured is Yungblud's Grammy-winning rendition of Black Sabbath's classic ballad "Changes," performed alongside Bettencourt, Anthrax's Frank Bello, Wakeman and Sleep Token's II.
