The Mars Volta appear to be on the verge of releasing their upcoming album, titled Lucro Sucio; Los Ojos del Vacío. While no official announcement has been made, the band has taken several steps that suggest the album is imminent. They have premiered new material during their recent performances, supporting Deftones, and have included these new songs in their setlist each night since.

Earlier this month, a Reddit user claimed to have received a personal copy of the album on CD from Cedric Bixler Zavala while delivering food.

Additionally, Bixler Zavala has shared an Instagram post from Fingerprints Music, a record store in Long Beach, CA, which indicates the album is scheduled for release on April 11 through Clouds Hill.

Pre-orders for the album have even appeared on platforms like Rough Trade, where the description of Lucro Sucio; Los Ojos del Vacío notes:

"The Mars Volta's ninth studio album represents a significant milestone for the band, which has been continually reinventing itself for more than 20 years. With Lucro Sucio; Los Ojos del Vacio, they deliver an album that celebrates their roots, allowing them to reconnect with their origins. Fans are invited to embark on a musical journey."
