The Jesus Lizard release new single "Moto(R)"

Abrasive alt-rockers The Jesus Lizard, set to release their first album in 26 years next month, have unveiled its final pre-release single today, "Moto(R)." Guitarist Duane Denison says, alluding to the track's title, "It's not Motorhead, and it's not Radiohead either..." Watch the music video for the new single below.

Rack, the band's first album since 1998's Blue, will be released on September 13th via Ipecac. The record has been described by Consequence as a "rapturous return" and Brooklyn Vegan noted that the quartet sound "delightfully gnarly." Lead single "Hide & Seek" was released in June, followed by "Alexis Feels Sick" in July. The band have also announced tour dates stretching into 2025.
