There's likely significant overlap between Creed fandom in 2025 and connoisseurs of professional auto racing. So when the Indianapolis 500 takes place on Sunday, May 25, plenty of spectators will embrace this development with arms wide open: the "Higher" hitmakers will have their own car in the race.
In collaboration with SiriusXM Turbo, Meyer Shank Racing announced today they will be launching a Creed-themed vehicle to be operated by Swedish driver Felix Rosenqvist.
“It’s awesome to have Creed join us for the biggest race of the year,” said MSR co-owner Mike Shank. “SiriusXM has been such a great partner in helping us bring new energy and personality into the sport through music, and to bring a band like Creed to the Indy 500 is something that we’re really looking forward to."
Creed themselves shared in a statement:
“We are excited to attend our first Indy 500 this Memorial Day weekend. Seeing this incredible car in person will be a highlight for us. Can’t wait to be there with all the fans to cheer on Felix and the entire Meyer Shank Racing Team.”
This could be a much-needed win for Scott Stapp's family after his brother-in-law Mike Waltz was recently fired as Trump's national security adviser following Signalgate and Signalgate 2.0. At press time there's not yet word on whether the car is specially designed for places with golden streets.
