Experimental metal and loud music makers The Body are gearing up for a new album. The Crying Out of Things is out November 8 via Thrill Jockey. Along with the announcement, they've released first single "End of the Line". Listen here:

Produced with Seth Manchester, the duo - made up guitarist/vocalist Chip King and electronics-wizard/percussionist Lee Buford - have been at it for over two decades. In fact, their debut self-titled album turned 20 this year. The new album features contributions from regular collaborators, such as vocalist Ben Eberle, horn player Dan Blacksburg, and Felicia Chen (aka Dis Fig).

While The Body has put out a fair share of their own records, they are also known for their prolific collaborations with other artists. Since 2018 alone, they have had their name on nine different collaborative albums, including records with Uniform, Thou, and Full of Hell. Most recently, they put out an album with Dis Fig - Orchards of a Futile Heaven, which came out this year.

The duo are also on a European tour through part of November alongside Dis Fig. Find all dates below:
