After the unfortunate passing of 82-year-old Beach Boys legend Brian Wilson last week, the band’s 1966 classic Pet Sounds landed back on the Billboard 200 chart at its highest position ever. Additionally, Luminate data shows the group’s overall catalog saw a 184% increase in equivalent album units across the U.S.

Wilson's deaht at 82 was a sad gutpunch to many when it was announced last week. Although no official cause has been released yet, it is known that Wilson had been living with a neurocognitive disorder akin to dementia.
