Last November, The 1975 removed the song "Human Too" from their most recent album, 2022's Being Funny In A Foreign Language. Today, the entirety of 2020 LP Notes on a Conditional Form is missing as well.
Notes, an 80 minute double album, was released in the thick of COVID lockdowns in May 2020 after several release delays and a cancelled tour. Known best for singles "If You're Too Shy (Let Me Know)" and "Me & You Together Song," Notes saw The 1975 play around with different genres, and introducing drummer George Daniel as an electronic producer. It released to greatly mixed critical reviews, with the worst of them calling the album "self-indulgent."
Nobody in or associated with the band has commented on its removal as of writing.
