Temple of Love announce debut album, release single 'If Sighs Could Kill'

Southern gothic rockers Temple of Love have announced their debut studio album Songs of Love and Despair, out November 7 via The Reptile House.

Listen to the album's first single "If Sighs Could Kill" below:

Singer Suzy Bravo explains the track:

"'If Sighs Could Kill'' is a song about the memories of desire and obsession. The song's lyrics are told by a person that is remembering a time when they were young and thought that if they couldn’t have the person they wanted, they’d die, but grew old enough to find out that time heals and the heart is stronger than we think."

Recorded with Grammy Award-winning producer and engineer Stuart Sullivan (Roky Erickson, Supersuckers) at Wire Recording Studio (Meat Puppets, The Sword) and mastered by Alberto De Icaza, the band's nine-song LP brews a witchy concoction led by the ever-commanding Bravo (Witchcryer, Tits Out) and her husband/guitarist Steve Colca (Destroyer of Light).
