NYC 60s connoisseurs Tchotchke have dropped their new single "Now I Loved You". The new single comes from the band's upcoming album Playin' Dumb, which is out September 5. You can pre-order Playin' Dumb here.

Directed by Kaila Chambers and Hilla Eden, the accompanying music video is heavily inspired by French films of the 60s. The song tackles that whiplash feeling of falling in love. Anastasia Sanchez sings, “Did I fall in love too quickly? / ‘Cause I’ve got this rushing feeling / Taking over like a puppy with fleas.”
Sanchez reveals that the song was originally put on the backburner.
“This song was started in 2019 but quietly took a backseat until 2023. Eva and I revisited it and made a super minimal demo that we loved so much, we decided to keep it exactly as it was. It’s our short and sweet insecure love song.”
In order to celebrate the album's release in September, Tchotchke announced that they're opening for Hunx and His Punx on tour. The shows will take place across the East Coast and Midwest, with a stop in Toronto. Tickets for the shows are on sale now.
