Taylor Swift adds more curse words to 'Reputation'

Not that you'd necessarily know it from the lyrics on The Life of a Showgirl"I can make deals with the devil because my dick's bigger" is a favorite — but Taylor Swift just turned 36 on Friday. She celebrated by partaking in her favorite pastime: releasing yet another version of an already-existing Taylor album.

In this case, she updated her now-eight-year-old sixth album Reputation for Apple Music's Dolby Atmos feature, which uses Spatial Audio to "provide a three-dimensional listening experience." Maybe that's a vivid improvement if you have the right hardware to appreciate it, but more importantly, she changed a couple lyrics. In short, she added more cursing.

The line "But if he drops my name, then I owe him nothin' / And if he spends my change, then he had it comin'" from "I Did Something Bad" is now "If a man talks shit, then I owe him nothin' / And if he calls me a bitch then he had it comin'," which makes you wonder how kickass she'd be if she returned to country music all grown up.

And in "Delicate," she tweaked an "oh damn" into "goddamn." Oooh, blasphemous!

These Easter eggs will have to suffice for Swifties who aren't getting a Taylor's Version of Reputation after all. How cruel to leave them to only their 34 versions of Showgirl this holiday season. At least they still have the So Punk on the Internet Version.

Well, there is one more consolation prize: all six parts of Swift's Disney+ docuseries The End of an Era are available for viewing now on the streaming service, documenting the aftermath of the biggest tour of all time by anyone. That ought to hold them for a bit. The curious can watch the trailer below.
