Puerto Rican producer extraordinaire Tainy has joined forces with Colombian singer and rapper Feid for “MONSTRUO”, the first single from the upcoming follow-up to Tainy's 2023 album DATA.
The new track showcases Tainy’s signature production chops in an eerie, moody reggaeton track with crushing drums and ominous synths that serve as a backdrop for Feid’s suggestive lyrics and trademark flow. It comes alongside a full black-and-white 4:3 aspect ratio video reminiscent of 1920s German expressionist cinema, directed by Stillz.

According to a press release, “MONSTRUO” takes inspiration from the song “La Chanson D’Hélène”. The cover art for the single was created by legendary Japanese visual artist, illustrator, and character designer Yoshitaka Amano, known for his work on titles such as Vampire Hunter D and Final Fantasy, among others.
