Alternative metal giants System of a Down have just announced three stadium shows next summer, each with its own unique co-headliner.
The first of these shows on August 28th is at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, which is System of a Down’s first east coast performance in over a decade. Nu metal pioneers Korn are warming up the stage for them here.
Next on August 31st is Chicago’s Soldier Field, which finds them back in Chicago for the first time in over five years. Modern metal legends Avenged Sevenfold will be in the co-headliner slot here.
Then on September 3rd, System of a Down return to Canada for the first time in a decade. Alternative metal contemporaries Deftones will be performing then.
Each date features instrumental djent act Polyphia and shoegazer Wisp opening the shows.
Tickets go on sale Friday to the general public, with artist pre-sales on Wednesday.
